Rendezvous South Code of Conduct
At Rendezvous South, we believe successful business relationships are built on professionalism, respect, and Southern hospitality. We are committed to providing a welcoming environment where all participants can connect, collaborate, and conduct business in a positive and productive setting.
This Code of Conduct applies to all attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, vendors, staff, and guests.
Expectations for Participants
To help ensure a valuable experience for everyone, participants are expected to:

Treat fellow attendees, event staff, venue personnel, and guests with courtesy and respect.

Because appointments are a key part of the Rendezvous South experience, participants are expected to honor their scheduled meetings. Repeated missed appointments or failure to communicate schedule changes may affect eligibility for future hosted-buyer opportunities.

Engage in networking and business discussions professionally and in good faith.

Comply with all venue policies and applicable health and safety requirements.
Creating a Positive Experience for Everyone
To ensure a welcoming and productive environment, the following behaviors are not acceptable:

Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or abusive behavior of any kind.

Disruptive, threatening, or unsafe conduct.

Unwelcome physical contact or advances.

Excessive intoxication.

Recording, photographing, or sharing images of individuals without their permission.

Any behavior that interferes with another participant's ability to fully engage in the event.
Social Events
Rendezvous South networking functions may include alcoholic beverages. Attendees who choose to consume alcohol are expected to do so responsibly and to maintain professional conduct throughout all event activities. Excessive intoxication or behavior that negatively impacts the experience of other participants is not acceptable.
Reporting Concerns
Anyone who experiences or witnesses conduct inconsistent with this Code is encouraged to notify a member of the Rendezvous South team. All reports will be handled promptly, respectfully, and as confidentially as circumstances permit.
Enforcement
Rendezvous South reserves the right to take appropriate action in response to violations of this Code of Conduct, including removal from the event without refund or reimbursement.
